I was born in Ann Arbor Michigan. When I was twelve my family moved to FLorida, and I began private lessons at the Ft. Lauderdale COnservatory. After graduating from high school I went to the AMerican Academy of Art in Chicago for one wonderful year. A few years later and a move to Pennsylvania, I resumed study at Moore COllege of Art in Philadelphia for three more years.
Living in Pennsylvania brought me in contact with the Brandywine School in Chadds Ford, which was an early influence. Further work in graphic arts was also a determining factor.
Currently I live in Fredericksburg, where I have become a member of the Co-op gallery, Art First, since a move here in 2001.
