Julia Barth received her BA in Studio Art From Mary Washington College and has done post-graduate work at James Madison University and Virginia
Commomwealth University. Over the years she has worked as an artist, gallery director, and a private and public school art teacher. The clay series she is now showing, ceramic relief tiles, was begun in 1998. Each piece is individually rolled and impressed with natural materials, lace and silks and finished with a small painting from nature. |
