Maggie Lawrence studied Fine Art at Richmond Professional Institute (later Va. Commonwealth Univ.) from 1966 - 1968 and has a Virginia certification to teach art, English and drama. She was a high school English and drama teacher for 22 years, but continues to paint, mostly oil on canvas.
