Art First Gallery located in the heart of Old Town Fredericksburg was founded in 1992. It is Fredericksburg's first established artists' cooperative.

The town of Fredericksburg is home to many talented and motivated artists.The original founders of Art First envisioned a place where these artists could exhibit their work.At Art First Gallery one will find art of various genre from fine arts in a traditional manner to contemporary and abstract works. Paintings as well as artist rendered prints, photography, polaroid transfers, ceramics, original paperworks, fine weaving, sculpture, jewelry and mixed media are represented.

The members exhibits change monthly and consist either of a Group Show or a Featured Show.

Please join us for our Art Openings on the First Friday of each month from 6 pm. to 9 pm. These openings are free and open to the public. They provide you with an opportunity to meet and speak with the artists and to see what is new at Art First Gallery.
